Maputo Teachers Training School Holds 29th Graduation Ceremony

The Maputo School of Future Teachers (EPF Maputo) held, on December 11 in Matola, the 21th graduation ceremony for teachers and the 4th graduation of the Primary Education and Adult Education Teacher Training course, Model 12th Grade + 3 years. At this ceremony, the institution made available to the education sector 57 new teachers, including 36 women and 24 men, contributing to the strengthening of education in the country.

Tsogolo Tsicana Project Transforms the Lives of Adolescent Girls and Young Mothers in Tete Province

The Tsogolo Tsicana Project (“Go Girl”), funded by the Government of Flanders and implemented by ADPP Mozambique in consortium with GCR in Tete Province, is transforming the lives of thousands of Adolescent Girls and Young Mothers (AGYM) aged 9 to 24 in the districts of Tete, Changara, and Moatize—regions where rates of early unions, teenage pregnancies, other forms of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and vulnerability to HIV remain high.

Project HOPE increases adherence to antiretroviral treatment in Cabo Delgado

Ongoing since 2016, the Hope Cabo Delgado project, implemented for five years by ADPP in partnership with the Ariel Glaser Foundation Against Pediatric AIDS and in coordination with the Ministry of Health (MISAU), through funds provided by the CDC, covered seven districts (Moeda and Muidumbe Chiure, Ancuabe and the city of Pemba), where it sought through various actions to reduce new HIV infections and the reintegration of absentee patients and others who had abandoned treatment.
