TEPATE: a partnership between Finish and Mozambican Universities

The TEPATE project is a partnership between two Universities in Finland and two Universities in Mozambique.

TEPATE is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and implemented by the Department of International Partnerships at the JAMK University of Applied Sciences of Finland. It also has the participation of the University of Lapland (U Lapland), the Pedagogical University of Maputo and ISET-One World. The TEPATE project officially started in September 2020 and its main focus is to work on improving the conditions for teacher training in Mozambique. For this purpose, 3 teaching modules will be created with innovative teaching methodologies that have proven to be effective in Finland. Currently, the project is in the phase of establishing working groups between experts from UPM and ISET-One World, with online sessions for exchange of experiences and creation of teaching modules. The duration of the TEPATE project is 4 years, until August 2024.

ISET ONE-WORLD HOLDS 18TH GRADUATION CEREMONY

The Higher Institute of Education and Technology (ISET One-World) held its 13th graduation ceremony on 12 April at its facilities in the district of Namaacha, Changalane Administrative Post, placing forty new senior staff with bachelor's and master's degrees on the labour market.

Zambézia Province receives project to Improve the Quality of Education

With the goal of improving the quality of education in primary schools in Zambezia province, the project on Improving the Quality of Education, Inclusion and Community Involvement in Primary Education, implemented by ADPP under funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA) expects in the next three years to benefit a total of 12,881 students belonging to 24 primary schools in the districts of Milange, Molumbo, Morrumbala and Namacurra.

ISET-One World holds XII Graduation Ceremony

The Higher Institute of Education and Technology ISET-One World, held last Friday, at the Changalane Administrative Post, Namaacha district, the XII graduation ceremony of more 59 students in the Bachelor and Master degrees.
