This donation, which includes clothing for all ages and genders, was handed over to the Organization of Mozambican Women (OMM), which will distribute it to affected families in Maputo Province.

“ADPP has been a strategic partner that responds promptly whenever the country faces floods or other extreme climate events. We are very pleased, as each item of clothing will help restore dignity to people who have lost all their belongings,” said Francelina Valoi, OMM representative.

“The kits were prepared with the composition of a family in mind, including clothing for women, children, and men. Although this quantity is not sufficient to meet all needs, ADPP reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting the affected communities,” said Damião Mabota, ADPP Programme Officer.

ADPP reaffirms its commitment to stand side by side with communities at all times and reiterates that in the coming days it will continue distributing additional family clothing kits, in coordination with the National Institute for Disaster Risk Management and Reduction (INGD), with the aim of reaching as many beneficiaries as possible.
