The ADPP-Kushinga project started last week the distribution of basic baskets to orphans and vulnerable children in response to the damage caused by Cyclone Freddy, which hit some provinces in the Centre of the country at the beginning of the year.

With the goal of improving the quality of education in primary schools in Zambezia province, the project on Improving the Quality of Education, Inclusion and Community Involvement in Primary Education, implemented by ADPP under funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA) expects in the next three years to benefit a total of 12,881 students belonging to 24 primary schools in the districts of Milange, Molumbo, Morrumbala and Namacurra.

The communities of Mecuburi district, along with 12 other communities in Nampula province, are benefiting from the Transform Nutrition project which aims essentially to improve the nutritional status of 118,000 pregnant and latent women, 260,000 teenage girls and 165,000 children under the age of 2.
