More than five thousand vulnerable girls from Namacurra district in Zambézia province have benefited from support from the girl’s education project called Nikhalamo from April 2014 to March 2020.

Nine (9) thousand women and girls from the districts of Marracuene and Manhiça are benefiting from a project called "Empowerment of Women and Girls", an initiative of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), with funding from Global Affairs Canada, implemented in 5 countries, namely Bangladesh, Malawi, Mozambique, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Under the theme “Improving HIV case detection and treatment initiation among female sex workers in Mozambique: Results of a project in Niassa, Gaza and Zambezia provinces”, ADPP will share with the Conference participants the success it is having in implementing the PASSOS project, implemented in collaboration with FHI360 and funded by the United States Agency for International Development, USAID.
