The objective of the workshop was to strengthen and diversify active cooperation between technical and vocational training providers and different sector stakeholders, contributing to better alignment of education and training supply with labor market needs, while also promoting employment opportunities. The focus was on adapting cooperation with current and new partners engaged in sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices, finding joint solutions for practical challenges and skills gaps.

Vecra2 Workshop2In addition to teachers and managers from the Polytechnic Institutes of Nhamatanda and Nacala, as well as the Young Africa Vocational Training Center, the workshop featured the active participation of external partners from the private sector, agricultural higher education institutions, civil society organizations, and local agricultural authorities.
At different stages, participants discussed concepts and shared experiences related to the reasons, conditions, and approaches for cooperation between providers and sector stakeholders, as well as the different types of partnerships that exist. Through practical exercises and field visits to agricultural companies, participants identified joint approaches and solutions to the challenges and practices of climate-resilient agriculture.
