Second Hand Clothes
The first second hand clothes distributed by ADPP in Mozambique were donated as part of emergency aid to the civil war-torn country in the beginning of the 1980s. The selling of the clothes was initiated a few years later in 1988 in Maputo. Today, ADPP Mozambique manages altogether 30 wholesale outlets and 18 retail HUMANA stores across the country, providing affordable and good quality clothing and footwear to over 5 million people every year. The second hand clothes operation is also among the key fundraising methods for the development projects of the ADPP Mozambique.
