Partnership in Development builds on the understanding that progress and development must be created From People to People. With the people directly involved as the driving force. The participation of partners is needed. Partners who can provide the financing of development projects must contribute with funds alongside government departments, local interest groups, civil society and individuals. Partners who can organise and implement the programs leading to development must be there on the ground, among the people and with the people, to make development happen. Thus a beautiful trio can be established: The people, the funding partner and the implementing partner.

ADPP has its strength in being an implementing partner with strong and innovative programs.  With almost 3 decades of extensive experience in working with local, provincial and national authorities about problem identification and strategies for solutions. Together important and big development tasks can be solved.

One of our fundraising methods is creating a surplus from ADPP Second Hand operation, importing, sorting and selling second hand clothes in Mozambique. Besides creating more than 500 permanent jobs, this operation supply affordable good quality clothes for millions of Mozambicans and raise funds for ADPP projects in Mozambique. But the constant demand for capital to respond the gradual expanding of project growth is high and very early in our history we realised that many more roads to funding are needed.

Many are the people who do each their bit. Many are the sources that contribute to the establishing and the running of the projects – with big sums or small sums.

On behalf of the many children, students, teachers, farmers, of the many families in the projects and of the sick and poor, whom each and every contribution benefits we are grateful for this opportunity to thank all contributing partners, whether it is national and international, public and private, small and big .
