Pedagogical Workshops improve the quality of education in MozambiqueADPP Mozambique in cooperation with different partners is establishing Pedagogical Workshops in six provinces. This program is implemented by the Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) in Maputo, Chimoio, Nhamatanda, Macuse, Nacala and Cabo Delgado.
The Pedagogical Workshops are “Resource Centers” aiming to provide in-service training to the teachers by giving them access to the sources of information for them to better teach the primary school pupils. The Pedagogical Workshops are located at the primary schools and are equipped with didactic materials and audiovisual devices benefiting the “Zones of Pedagogical Influence” (ZIPs). The Pedagogical Workshops are not only for teachers, they are also open to the community to learn and share their knowledge. When opening a Pedagogic Workshop in Marracuene district, Maputo province, the government expressed its gratitude to ADPP for this initiative through the Director of the District Services of Education, Youth and Technology. |
