Farmers Club in Cabo Delgado trains 500,000 farmers

Farmers Club in Cabo Delgado held a training seminar from 13 to 26 of September of 2009.

The objective of this seminar was to train their members on how to process jatropha oil, modify generators in order to use biodiesel and other important skills.

More than 500,000 people participated in the seminar including farmers, extension workers and the presidents of the associations.

The seminar emphasized practical demonstrations to ensure that the farmers gained the clear idea of how to implement the lessons learned.
